溫哥華宣道會福群堂

 

1.       4 month countdown to summer camp! July 10-12 at Pacific Summit College!
Guest Speaker is Brian Derksen!!!! Joshua congregation is seeking
enthusiastic members to join the summer camp team! Available roles
include chair person, camp promotion team, activities team, hand book team and MORE! Please contact Bonnie .

 

2.       Do you like organizing things? Making lists? Finding better ways something can be done? Then you may be the person we need to help us create and implement guidelines needed to have the most effective and safe Children’s Ministry possible. This is not a “hands-on” position, meaning no direct interaction with children is required. This can mainly be done from home on a computer. Please ask Pastor Ralph or Gary Chiang for further information the CM Administrator role.

 

3.       Prayer and Fasting Day will be on Saturday, May 23^rd from 10 am to

 

      12:30 pm. It will be taking place at various locations (to be determined by your fellowship). Please save the date! More information to follow.

 

4.       The Destineds will be hosting the 30 Hour Famine, starting on

       Thursday May 14^th at 3pm and ending on Friday May 15^th at 9pm. If

 

      you would like to participate, please sign-up at the back of the sanctuary. There will be a fellowship event on the Friday from 7pm to 9pm, so please come out even if you are not participating in the famine. And of course, the night will end off with food! If you have any questions, please contact Jonathan or Janette.

 

5.       Baptism and baby dedication pictures are now posted on our church’s web site www.newbern.bc.ca.

 待發!求神親自帥領!
2) 記念軟弱肢體計有: Karen 師母, Patrick Lam,
  Stephen, Esther, Frank。
3) 為Brenda 母親感恩,在醫院已接受主,求神看顧其健
 康,並早日康復!

 

PRAY for : the SHEED fellowship which is just get started again. Pray for a renewed sense of commitment from it’s members so that they can support and grow together in Christ.

代禱事項

1.   下主日是每月第一主日為全教會祈禱日(早上9:30 am.),    希望各弟兄姊妹為教會作守望，為肢體關懷禱告，要教會復  興，需要你的禱告，請來一同參與 !
2.   全教會讀經運動今星期進入第十三週，多於一半參加者能每  天完成閱讀要求，祈望各人繼續努力，彼此激勵，不可放    棄。
3.   請來參加每星期三晚的查經祈禱會，為教會面前的事工及肢  體的需要，同心仰望神的看顧。

傳道部報告：
1.   福群堂短宣隊出發日期:「墨西哥短宣6月18-27日」，  已有10位弟兄姊妹參加，現正籌備工作安排,請為他們代  禱。 「巴拿馬短宣8月1-10日」已有8位弟兄姊妹參加。  「亞拉斯加英短宣 8月6-17日」已有4位英文堂弟兄姊妹  參加。一個與神同行，同工的 蒙福旅程，誠意鼓勵每一個  信徒踴躍參加，查詢及報名：張永賢Paddy長老。
2.  「歲月黃金開心宴」：一個特別為長者而設的福音聚餐  晚 會，定於5月16日星期六晚6時聚餐，晚會7時30分  開始，節目 豐富有粵曲、話劇、遊戲、信息等…。餐券經已派完，座位已滿。查詢：伍麗娟姊妹或張永賢長老。
3. 老人院探訪事工:5月1及15日,下午1:30到列治文天恩   頤康院;5月23日下午1:30到列治文中僑護理院 探望及慰  問長者。歡迎弟兄姊妹參加。查詢:黎劉嘉敏姊妹，伍麗娟  姊妹或張永賢長老。

成人主日學部報告：
1.春季成人主日學：三月至五月～課程 (1) 「聖經人物逐  個睇！」共十一課由Hilda, Alice, May三位姊妹講授。課  程 (2)「俄巴底亞書及約拿書」由余國基弟兄主講。課程    (3) 常青課程「聖道日糧」，另有初信造就班，由黃學富  傳道教授。請按需要積極參加。

團契部報告：
1.   常青團團契：於4月27日 (明天)上午10:00在教會集合。今次聚會將會與一班長者外遊”尋找失落的天鵝湖”。報名及查詢：伍麗娟姊妹。
2.   呂底亞姊妹團契：5月7日(週四)上午9:30在教會土庫舉行, 是次活動”家鄉美食及韓國烹飪示範”。請各姊妹們攜帶一個家鄉美食與大家分享，另誠邀一位韓國婦女即場示範烹飪韓國食品。如有查詢：曹周鍚燕(Shirley)姊妹。

PRAY for :Karen Hardy as she is recovering from an infection of the pericardial sac.  Pray that the doctors will be able to give her a correct diagnosis and proper treatment..
