1.       The Alaska Mission Team (AMT) has sensed and affirmed God’s call to move boldly forward with the trip even though there are only four people currently able to go. So pray for God’s leading and provision of resources as we plan and prepare for the mission trip. We will keep you updated as we move forward, confident in God’s provision.

 

2.       A burning bush…an assault of plagues…Jesus’ resurrection.  The Bible tells us God performed big stuff-miracles-to make Himself known.  But He’s acting in our everyday lives and all around us, too.  Help children understand that by bringing them to Newbern’s VBS camp!  Our theme this year is Crocodile Dock, where fearless kids shine God’s light!  Your children will develop a sense of God’s loving presence.  They’ll see evidence of His power.  And they’ll know God is alive and active and with them!

Date: July 13 to 17th (Monday to Friday)

Time: 1pm to 5pm . Ages: From kindergarten to grade 7

Cost: $45 dollars if you register before June 29th and $55 on or after June 29th.

3.       Church’s Picnic

 

Date: July 1^st, Wednesday,

Time: 10am to 4pm

Place: Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park – Picnic Area #2.

Cost: $ 5 for age 6 and above, free for age 5 and under.

 

Activities include BBQ lunch, games, Fraser River scenery and trail walks. For those who need rides to the park, please arrive at the church at 9 am sharp on that day. Also please fill up the registration form and return ASAP. The deadline is today. We are looking for volunteers for this event.  If you are interested or have any further inquiries, please contact Amy Wong

3.    本週黃傳道領短宣隊到BC內陸,星期三晚查經祈禱會仍  然 繼續舉行,由曹傑山長老主領,敬請留意並出席,為短宣隊  員禱告。又因長議會副主席同隊出發,故教會事務暫由曹傑  山長老處理。
4.   2009 福群堂夏令會，將於7月10-12日舉行，今年主題  「逆 境中成長」由張道恆牧師領會，地點仍在Abbotsford    Summit Pacific College，費用成人每位 $120小童5至    12 歲 $80。請向Brenda Lui雷幗欣姊妹報名。
５.    暑期聖經班：於7月13至17日(星期一至星期五)下午

1.    6月份成人主日學：「聖經難題釋疑」上主日已開始,還  有21及28日主日舉行，特邀蔡春曦牧師主講，機會難    得； 課題分別以舊約、新約及啟示錄三部份，為我們解答  讀經常遇的難題，盼弟兄姊妹全體一同參加。

團契部報告：
1.   摩西成人團契：6月27日(本週六)晚上7:15 查經課程，  查考處理情緒第五課：「失去良朋，處理孤 寂」。查經資  料將於今天崇拜後堂外派發。歡迎弟兄姊妹及慕道朋友參  加，請帶備聖經出席。查詢：Hilda 張黃其蕙姊妹。

  傳道部報告：
1.   短宣隊出發日期:原定6月出發之「墨西哥短宣  隊」由於當地繼續有流感病毒上升的情況，因此
 「墨西哥」短宣隊將會延期出發，請弟兄姊妹繼續為  墨西哥短宣工場代禱。現「墨西哥短宣隊」改為去  BC內陸短宣，明天出發，５天旅程，求主開路。
 「巴拿馬短宣8月1-10日」已有７位弟兄姊妹參加。
2.   老人院探訪事工:7月3及日,下午1:30到列治文天  恩頤康院;6月27日下午1:30到列治文中僑護理院  探望及慰問長者。歡迎弟兄姊妹參加。查詢:黎劉嘉  敏姊妹，伍麗娟姊妹或張永賢長老。
