家事報告

1.   福群堂佈道會：9月18-20日(星期五晚至星期日主日)；  特別邀請潘士宏牧師主領，主題：”萬福之源”，星期五  及六晚上7:30更設有兒童節目。請邀請未信親友參加，讓  人人得到永恆生命的福樂。
2.    為慕道者及已決志者能對基督教基本教義有更深認 識及  了解，而舉行『基要真理班』由黃學富傳道授課，日期由  八月十六日開始，於主日上午9:30主日學時間，請向 黃   傳道報名及查詢。
3.    Karen 姊妹己平安抵達建道神學院，九月初會正式開課，  Henry會於月底回來。請禱告中記念姊妹的適應。
4.   Eldon 弟兄亦已到達多倫多新的工作,記念他的適應及在  溫哥華的太太Sandy及女兒Michelle。
5.   阿拉斯加短宣隊亦己於星期三平安返回溫哥華,感謝神的  保守。
6.    長議會會議記錄1-6月份已刊登於禮堂外的報告欄上，  請自由閱覽。

傳道部報告：
1.   傳道部會議：今主日後有午餐會議，請傳道部同工留    步，查詢：張永賢長老。 
2.    老人院探訪事工9月4日及18日,下午1:30到列治文天    恩頤康 院。歡迎弟兄姊妹參加。查詢:伍麗娟姊妹或張永  賢長老。

主日學部報告：
1. 成人主日學七、八月課程：為配合全教會宣教運動，特別  邀請環球宣愛協會簡鳳萍傳道，主講六堂「放眼世界」 宣   教主日學，內容包括～1.作胸懷普世門徒 2.初期教會差  傳典範 3.中世紀至今差傳進程 4.差傳中最重要伙伴 5.  跑中國境地的必勝技 6.環球宣愛事工發展，敬請全體會友
 務必一同參加。

財政部報告：
1.    7月份財政報告：經常費收入：$12,032.00，建堂收入：  $21,735.00，宣教收入：$1,076.67，宣教支出：    $775.00。總收入：$38,172.16 (包括夏令營，特別奉獻  及 感恩奉獻收入)，總支出：$82,299.78 (包括五萬元擴堂  還款)，不敷 ($ 44,127.62 )。１至7月總收入：
 $170,146.17.01，總支出：$ 207,859.49。１至7月淨不  敷($37,713.32)，１至7月建堂及獻堂收入：
 $36,135.34。
2.     7月份奉獻報告已張貼在大堂外的報告板 上。如有查詢，  可聯絡朱廣圖(Danny)弟兄。

家事報告

1) 為巴拿馬短宣隊完成十天工作感恩,當中有人接受耶
 穌,榮耀歸神。
2) 為英文部的阿拉斯加短宣(8月8-19)的工作。
3) 記念軟弱肢體: Frank, Karen師母等,求神看顧,早日
 康復。
4) 為教會附近的鄰居(58,59,60,61,62街), 求神讓他
 們有機會來教會聽信福音, 接受耶穌。
5) 為Eldon 弟兄到多倫多工作及Karen 姊妹返香港讀
 神學事宜,求神保守看顧。

PRAY for: the Alaska Team – pray for their safety as they drive to Alaska, pray that their VBS will give the children of Hydaberg some joy and hope as they learn about Jesus. Pray for the team members: Alex Moorjani, Pastor Ralph, Brian Choy and Doris Ip.

代禱事項

1.    Alaska STM Team (August 8 – 19) - Team Prayer requests are posted in the back bulletin board.

 2.   Meeting for all children’s worship leaders and teachers at 2:00pm today
(after the love feast for Karen Lai). We are making changes to
the curriculum and we would like to give you some information on what
will be happening in September! This is an exciting event and we would
like to let you in on the secret! The meeting will be for 30 minutes
in classroom 1 at 2:00pm.

 3.  There will be a farewell party for Karen Lai on today, after the Chinese Service. She will be going away for 4 years to study at the Alliance Bible Seminary School in Hong Kong. There will be a short ceremony and after that, there will be a love-feast. Please come and join us in praising God and giving support to Karen. 

 4.   Wedding bells will be ringing (somewhere) for Nicky Yuen and Jessica Li on August 23^rd  2009, at the Burnaby Village Museum, 6501 Deer Lake Avenue, Burnaby, starting at 2PM. You are most humbly invited to come and be a part of the celebration!
