教會事工報告:
1. 多謝潘士宏牧師，作為本年教會佈道會一連三天的講 員， 潘牧師現為中華福音使命團義務團牧，全力於國外宣 教工作。
2. 為慕道者及已決志者，有更深認識基督教基本教義，盼能 早日 接受洗禮，故由八月十六日開始，一連十堂，於主日 上午9:30主日學時間，舉行『基要真理班』由黃學富傳道 授課，請向黃傳道報名及查詢。
3. 本週三晚七時半有特別聚會，請到宣道差會執行幹事,曾 湛光牧 師分享當地事工及祈禱晚會，敬請出席關心普世宣 教工作。
團契部報告:
1. 常青團團契:9月22日(本週二)上午10至11:30邀請加拿大糖尿病協會舉辦一個專講座“如何料理糖尿病患者身體”。會後午膳於溫哥華王子酒樓。
2. 呂底亞姊妹會:於9月26日(本週六)舉行秋季家庭旅遊,鼓勵姊妹會成員與家人一起參加。地點 : Applebarn at Abbotsford，入埸費 : 成人$3，小童$7(包括餵動物飼料)，兩歲以下免費。是次活動內容很適合家庭, 當中有摘蘋果，參觀動物或購買農場種植生果。每個家庭需要自行駕駛去當日集合地點 : Applebarn at Abbotsford，時間 : 上午10。查詢需要接載，請聯絡曹周鍚燕姊妹或上www.applebarn.com網址查閱更多資料。
3. 摩西成人團契 ： 9月26日(本週六)晚上7:15 查經課程，題目為「失去自制，處理憤怒」。查經資料於今天崇拜後大堂外派發。鼓勵弟兄姊妹及慕道朋友參加，請帶備聖經出席。查詢：Hilda 張黃其蕙姊妹。
4. “弟兄的天空”10月2日(星期五)晚上7:30,“中秋賞月聯歡”在黃學富傳道Isaac府上舉行，歡迎弟兄參加，同時每人請攜帶一個月餅出席。

1. 崇拜部研討會 : 請10月3日崇拜後先有聚餐，1:30-2:30 舉行。請崇拜部所有事奉人員出席，包括(主席、領詩、司 事、聖樂、投射及影音)。參加聚餐，請在大堂外報名，查詢 費國良長老。
主日學報告:
1. 秋季成人主日學：主日上午9:30開始 「輕鬆研經自 助 餐」～藉著學習和實踐不同的研經方法，讓弟兄姊 妹能有系統地自行和與人研讀聖經，好好裝備成合用 器皿，為神所用。該課程由新上任同工陳宗遠Bryan 傳道主講，請各會友務必出席。同期另開設常長班及 基要真理班，請選擇參加。

2. Part-time Chinese Youth Pastor: The Elders Board is pleased to announce that Pastor Bryan Chan will join Newbern as the part-time Chinese Youth Pastor leading the Chinese Youth fellowship ministry starting in September 1st, 2009. Graduated from Hong Kong Alliance Bible Seminary, Pastor Bryan is now Master of Theology. Please join us in welcoming Pastor Bryan to our Church.
3. Pastor Ralph is taking a step of faith to see what God has for him; possibly some church planting work. To focus on God’s call, he has decided to resign at Newbern. His last day will be on October 11.
4. Great News for Parents and Guardians! Beginning September 13th, our Children Worship will have a completely revamped program for Children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Your kids will enjoy a full hour of action- packed Worship time where they will learn different aspects of how to Worship God. So, bring your kids early on Sunday at 9:15am for the 9:30am START TIME!
