1. After considerable work and prayer by the Board, and with the approval by the Superintendent of C & MA District Office, we are pleased to announce: Rev. Isaac Wong has accepted the call to be our Senior Pastor of Newbern Memorial Chinese Alliance Church effective July 1, 2010. Official Ordination and Installation Ceremony will be held on Sunday August 22 at 2:30pm. Let’s praise the Lord together for His provision of a new Senior Pastor and also join in prayer for Rev. Isaac and Newbern that God will continue to multiply and grow our ministries.
2. Love Feast will be held Aug 22, at 12:30 pm after Chinese Service, Please sign up at the back.
3. In the absence of an English Pastor, Pastor Isaac Wong will participate in the Joshua congregation as follows:
1) Preach once a month at the Holy Communion Sunday Worship.
2) Attend Wednesday prayer meeting once a month (1st Wednesday of the month)
3) Attend the monthly Deacons Board meeting and try to have informal gatherings with the deacons once a month.
4) Try to sit in the English Worship after teaching the
Chinese Sunday school class. (i.e. 10:30 am. if time permits)
5) Visit English brothers and sisters as needed.
4. "Since Pastor Isaac leads the Panama STM from July 24 to Aug. 2, the vice chairman of Elder Board Paddy Cheung will resume his duties during his absence."
5. Church Clean-up Day－August 14 (Sat : 9:30am – 3:00 pm). Please come and join us in cleaning our church. This is a great way to meet people from both congregations, develop good relationship and enjoy the sun! Lunch will be provided. Please sign up at the back. 7. Newbern’s Annual Vacation Bible School ( August 4 – 8th) Time: Wed to Sat: 5pm-8pm and Sun: 11am-2pm . Cost: $40 per child. Hop aboard and get ready this summer for Newbern’s Annual VBS! This year, we are exploring God’s mighty love through games, stories, and crafts! Registration & invitations are available from the giant VBS Sail in the Church basement. Completed registrations can be submitted to William Wong. Register today as space is limited!

2. 因黃傳道帶領短宣隊於七月廿四至八月二日到巴拿馬，故有關 教會事務暫由長議會副主席張永賢長老代為處理。
3. 感謝神及弟兄姊妹的禱告，黃傳道經已順利通過加拿大宣道太 平 洋區會的所有按牧要求，並定於八月廿二日主日下午二時三 十分正在本堂舉行按立牧師典禮，敬請屆時出席，同頌主恩。當 日本堂亦設有愛筳，時間中午12:30 於中文崇拜之後舉行，需報 名，請在大堂外出報名。
4. 現因英文部還未請到合適牧者，故黃傳道八月份開始會抽調多些 時間幫助英文事工，如每月聖餐主日講道及主領聖餐，每月一次 參加他們的星期三晚祈禱會，主領每月一次的執事會，與執事每 月一次交談及探訪有需要的會友等等。
5. 福群堂暑期聖經班將於8月4至8日在教會舉行，當中透過遊 戲，故事及手工藝，讓小朋友認識神偉大無比的愛。 日期及時間: 8月4至7日(星期三至六)下午5:00 – 8:00pm，8月8日(星期日)上午11:00 至2:00 pm，費用:$40，支票台頭：" NMCAC"。現已開始接受報名，請到教會土庫索取表格及可以立即報名或將表格交還給英文堂William Wong弟兄，另這活動亦需要大量義工協助，如有興趣，請聯絡英文堂Gary Chiang弟兄.
